The Korg padKONTROL adds another dimension beyond traditional keyboard control for incredibly expressive and versatile pad control with your home studio. In addition to accessing drum sounds and samples the padKONTROL can also control soft synths, effects, and DAW transport controls as well as trigger loops.
Each of the 16 pads can be individually assigned a note number and MIDI channel, and you can choose from eight different dynamic curves as well as either MIDI or USB output for each pad. The display reminds you know what you’re doing at a glance while the illuminated pads visually groove along with your playing. You can save controller setups in one of 16 User Scenes in the padKONTROL and it includes 30 preset scenes.
The padKONTROL also comes with free Editor/Librarian software, Creative Kontrol Pack Vol. 2 music software, but it will most definitely work magic with software instruments like Propellerhead REASON 4.0 Music Production Software and Image Line FL Studio 7 XXL Virtual Studio.
